What does an annual boiler service include?

During a boiler service, we will carry out a series of checks to ensure that your boiler and central heating and running safely and efficiently. We will check for water leaks, as well as any damage and wear and tear. We'll also carry out several safety inspections to make sure that your boiler is using the right amount of gas and not letting off carbon monoxide or other harmful gasses.

How do I book my annual boiler service?

We will get in touch before your annual service is due so that you can book a time slot for our engineer to carry out the service. If at any point you'd like to book in a service, please just get in touch.

What is a Service Plan and why do I need one?

A Service Plan provides you with assistance should your boiler break down and affect your home's heating and hot water supply. It also helps you to spread the cost of your annual boiler service. You can have full peace of mind knowing we're just a call away when you need us.

What components are covered in each plan?

The below components are included in ALL plans:

As well as the above, these additional components are included in the Gold Plan

The Plumbing Plan (Optional Bolt-On for Gold and Platinum Plan customers) includes the following

Vented Cylinders (not unvented)
Feed & expansion tank
Hot & Cold supplied from internal stop tap up to fixtures & appliances ie toilets, sinks, washing machines, taps

What's included in the Plumbing plan?

The below components are included in Plumbing Plan (Optional Bolt-On for Gold and Platinum Plan customers):

Vented Cylinders (not unvented)
Feed & expansion tank
Hot & Cold supplied from internal stop tap up to fixtures & appliances ie toilets, sinks, washing machines, taps

Please note that the Plumbing Plan does not cover:

Unvented cylinders & components directly associated with the unvented system (expansion vessel, control valve etc)
Taps
Washing machine hoses
Waste & Drainage
Appliance integrals ie fill & flush valves, tap ceramics, sink & bath wastes etc

What's included in the Drainage plan?

The below components are included in Drainage Plan (Optional Bolt-On for Gold and Platinum Plan customers):

Unblocking drains to restore flow
Repairing drains where we deem the drain to be unserviceable to restore flow
Repairing leaks to waste water pipes and soil and vent pipes
A replacement of parts that we can’t repair
Accidental damage

Please note that the Drainage Plan does not cover:

Rainwater guttering and downpipes, manholes and their covers, soakaways, septic tanks, cesspits, drainage pumps, treatment plants and macerators and their outflow pipes
Cleaning and descaling your drains
Shared drains
Excavation directly under the property where there is a risk to foundations
Third party damage

What's included in the Electrical plan?

The below components are included in Electrical Plan (Optional Bolt-On for Gold and Platinum Plan customers):

All repairs to the mains electrical system and wiring on your property, for example:
The fuse box, light fittings, switches, sockets, isolation switches and your immersion heater timer switch
Extractor fans up to 15cm in diameter
Doorbells and smoke alarms that are connected to the wiring
Outside lighting as long as it’s fixed to your home or outbuildings and fitted less than ten metres above ground
A replacement of parts that we can’t repair
Accidental damage
Repairs or replacement of your electric vehicle charger unit following breakdown, accidental damage, or damage caused by vandalism or theft, subject to terms and conditions

Please note that the Electrical Plan does not cover:

Electrical appliances, burglar alarms and camera systems
Showers and their parts, shower pumps, cooker extractor hoods, storage and panel heaters, underfloor heating, swimming pools, controls, pumps, detectors, timers and programmers, electrical plugs, and solar panels and their inverters
The electricity supply cable up to the fuse box or mains isolation switch if fitted
Power cables between your home and any detached outbuildings, outdoor fittings or appliances on your property
Electrics in your outbuildings if the supply is connected to a separate electricity meter than to your home
Rubber or lead covered cables
Complete system rewire
Outside lighting not fixed to your home or outbuilding
